Travel Counsellors recognises next generation of top performers at Gold Dinner
Travel Counsellors has recognised its top performing travel entrepreneurs at its annual Gold Dinner, celebrating a global community of business owners delivering sustained success.
Held earlier this month at The Belfry, the event brought more than 200 of the company’s highest-performing Travel Counsellors from across the UK, alongside support team colleagues and supplier partners including Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Cunard, Domes Resorts, Grecotel, Intrepid, Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Riviera Travel, to mark a year of building and strengthening relationships together across corporate and leisure travel.
In total, 242 Travel Counsellors globally have achieved Gold status, including 200 in the UK. Among them are individuals who have each generated more than £40 million in lifetime sales, alongside ten Travel Counsellors who have retained Gold status consecutively for 20 years.
Jim Eastwood, Global Sales Director at Travel Counsellors, said, “Gold is a powerful reflection of what caring for customers looks like within our global community. For many, it’s not just about high performance in a single year - though many of our Gold TCs have achieved that - it’s about building trust over time, earning customer loyalty, and delivering consistently through changing market conditions, particularly at time when coming together, supporting people and providing reassurance feels incredibly important.
“Many of our Gold TCs, our business owners and global colleague community have been supporting customers, and each other, through the latest disruption, and what continues to stand out is the strength of these relationships.
“Our Gold Travel Counsellors know their leisure customers and corporate clients personally - they take the time, care and effort to ensure that connection is what continues to drive growth for their businesses, support repeat custom, and boost referrals and recommendations – their customers and clients remember the care and attention they receive, and go on to book with their Travel Counsellor again.”
The event also highlighted the next generation of high-performing Travel Counsellors. Cat Rainey, a Travel Counsellor and MICE specialist who achieved Gold status for the first time, said, “Reaching Gold has been a huge milestone for my business and my family. What’s made the biggest difference is being able to build genuine relationships with both my fellow TCs and my clients – bringing additional event related services like MICE and travel together has been pivotal to this success.”
“That personal connection with people builds trust, and that trust is what drives my business forward - it feels incredibly rewarding to see those relationships recognised in this way.”
Travel Counsellors Gold Dinner remains a key annual moment to recognise people within the community – celebrating individual business performance with a personal approach to customer service.
