1. Turkey - £1.81

Turkey, renowned for its all-inclusive resorts, has proven to be the cheapest country on our list to buy sunscreen, and the only cheapest destination outside of the UK. The price in Turkey is 40 Lira for 200ml, which works out to £1.33.

2. Ireland - £3.44

Purchasing sunscreen over the Irish Sea will set you back an extra 64p compared to the price in the UK. With many Brits heading over to Dublin or the picturesque west coast this summer, you might want to keep this in mind to save yourself some pennies.

3. United States - £3.82

Popular US destinations such as Orlando and Las Vegas are notorious for their hot temperatures and sunny weather so it's important to factor in the cost of sunscreen. As forgetting to buy your sunscreen in the UK before travelling over the pond will see you paying 36% more.

Methodology: We looked at the 10 most popular destinations for UK tourists using Finder. Then compared the cost of their cheapest 200ml bottle of sunscreen from each country's most popular supermarket sourced from each supermarket's individual website.
