Newmarket Holidays Launches New River Cruise Brochure
Newmarket Holidays has launched a new European River Cruise brochure for 2023/24 in partnership with A-ROSA River Cruises. The escorted touring specialist’s latest touring collection features a choice of itineraries exploring Europe’s great rivers and combines the award-winning expertise of Newmarket Holidays with the high-quality contemporary river cruise vessels of the A-ROSA fleet.
The new brochure includes three new itineraries: Rhine Cruise to Amsterdam; Experience the Rhine (Amsterdam-Basel); and Romance on the Moselle. Itineraries in the collection encompass sailings from spring time voyages and relaxed summer explorations to autumnal and festive escapes and customers can choose from cruises along the Danube, Rhine, Moselle, Rhone and Saône, Seine and Douro rivers.
As well as the extensive itineraries, customers will benefit from all the comforts of some of the most well-equipped and most sustainable river cruise vessels afloat, boasting spacious cabins, comfortable lounges, a vast sun deck, swimming pool or whirlpool and a wonderful on-board SPA-ROSA, along with a choice of dining options, where they can expect a feast of culinary highlights and memorable moments.
The new brochure, which will adopt Newmarket Holidays’s newly-launched branding in celebration of its 40th anniversary, features new additions to the A-ROSA itineraries. These include: “Taste the Destination”, which incorporates a tour of a city or town followed by a speciality dinner on board, featuring the best of the local cuisine; “Your Destination Scout”, whereby customers can benefit from the local knowledge of a shore-based expert, who will be on hand to answer questions, suggest places to visit, detail latest attractions and current exhibitions or give them advice if they wish to explore alone; and “A World of Excursion Possibilities”, whereby Newmarket Holidays will offer customers on an A-ROSA cruise up to three excursions as well as plenty of opportunities to join a wide variety of optional tours and experiences.
The new programme also sees the introduction of A-ROSA Sena, the fleet’s first E-Motion ship, which offers the most environmentally-advanced river cruise experience. Featuring both a diesel and electric propulsion, the vessel arrives in port under battery power, completely emission-free and carrying up to 280 guests, the ship is larger and faster than her sister ships, combining all the traditional comforts of A-ROSA vessels with a sustainable approach to river cruising.
