However, due to the cost of living increases, we are finding more people opting to travel to European destinations rather than trek further out. Google searches for 'Weekend Europe break' are backing this up, with the search term seeing a massive 4500% increase.

The team over at adventure travel company, The Bucket List Company have been keeping a close eye on the top travel destinations for this year, looking at recent search trends that have stood out.
