What Are You Most Excited About?
Savannah’s response is heartwarming: “I am looking forward to having a few months with my family.” For her, the trip isn’t just about exploring new places but also cherishing precious time with all of us.
Is There Anything You Are Nervous or Unsure About?
“I am nervous because we don't know what is going to happen,” Savannah admits. Her honesty is a reminder that stepping out of our comfort zones can feel overwhelming, but it’s also where the most growth happens. As we embark on this adventure, we’ll embrace the unknown together, showing Savannah that it’s okay to feel nervous.
What Is the One Thing You Must Pack in Your Bag?
Savannah’s essentials are simple yet meaningful: “I have to pack my favourite cuddly toy (Rex) and my clothes.” Rex will surely be a comforting companion on this journey.
What Do You Think You'll Miss Most From Home?
Like many kids her age, Savannah will miss her routines and connections: “My gymnastics, other family members, and my friends.” While it’s tough to leave these behind, the experiences she’ll gain will create new bonds and memories.
What Is the First Food You Want to Try in a New Country?
Savannah’s adventurous spirit shines through: “I want to try a bit of everything and lots of it.” From tropical fruits to local delicacies, there’s no doubt her taste buds are in for a treat.
What Do You Want to Learn or Get Better at While We Are Travelling?
“I want to learn about lots of countries, and I want to learn how to do a flick (gymnastics move),” she shares. Combining education and personal goals, Savannah’s enthusiasm for growth is inspiring.
Which Country Are You Most Looking Forward to Seeing and Why?
Savannah’s top picks? “I really want to go to Cambodia and Australia.” Whether it’s ancient temples or vibrant wildlife, these destinations promise unforgettable moments.
How Do You Think That Learning on the Road Will Be Different From School?
“I think it will be a brilliant experience, and it will change everything,” Savannah says. Her open-minded approach to worldschooling captures the essence of this adventure: learning beyond the classroom.
What Is Something Funny That You Think Might Happen?
With a giggle, Savannah predicts: “If a spider goes on, or near, Maddie.” Her little sister’s reactions are bound to add plenty of humour to our journey.
What Do You Want to Remember Most When the Adventure Is Over?
“That I will have learned so much more than I did before. Lots of special memories,” she reflects. This heartfelt answer is a testament to the transformative power of travel.
