There’s nowhere quite like London in the summer. Whether picnicking in the park or grabbing drinks until well after dark, the sun shining overheard brings a whole new vibe to the capital.

Locals looking for new things to do in London this summer can check out newly launched experiences platform Let’s GoDo which offers a range of unique activities, designed and led by passionate hosts. From foraging in Hackney to art classes in South London, there’s plenty to try in the Big Smoke this summer.

Hosted by East London expert Tom, this experience is an afternoon spent foraging in the Hackney Marshes whilst learning about sustainable cooking practices. When guests have worked up an appetite, it’s time for a six-course tasting menu at Silo, the world’s first completely zero-waste restaurant. 

The World Wine Tour in West Brompton

£105 | Various dates | Duration: 5.5 hours

Curated by qualified wine expert Gilbert, this world wine workshop promises a relaxed day spent learning and tasting fine wines, suitable for enthusiasts and beginners alike. With 16 wines to sample and a 3-course lunch to tuck into, guests can relax while learning the intricacies of wine tasting, spotting quality products, different styles and grape varieties.

Chicken Wing Tour in Soho

With foodie lover James at the helm, this delicious walking tour through Soho gives guests the chance to sample delectable wings from some of the city's top wing joints. Paying a visit to four restaurants, the tour involves indulging in a variety of flavours, including classic buffalo and BBQ, as well as unique options like confit Laksa butter wing.

Kintsugi Class For Beginner's in Nunhead

Guided by Kintsugi pioneer Brandon, this pottery class in South London is the perfect introduction to Kintsugi, an ancient Japanese art form that celebrates the beauty of imperfection. In the workshop, guests will learn about the history and philosophy of the practice as well as how to mend broken pottery in the “Kinsugi way” to create their own ceramic masterpiece to take home.

Printmaking lesson in Stoke Newington
