The main man in your life will enjoy discovering the Nevis heritage centre and meeting the local people while piecing together the history of this fascinating land. The hotel itself dates to 1810 and was built by the British for use as a sugar mill. It became a hotel in 1958 and then was bought by artists Brice and Helen Marden. The artist owners occasionally visit, and they have put their own artistic stamp on the property with their bohemian art and furniture inside. The gardens have been cultivated by Miami designer Raymond Jungles and Ed Tuttle, known for his work at Aman Resorts, He also designed the Pavilion surrounded by freshwater ponds and the outdoor dining room.
