Five Top Tips for a Fun and Stress-Free London Family Easter Break

Nannybag's Top 5 Tips for a Fun and Stress-Free London Family Easter Break

Are you planning a family trip to London with your children this Easter? Awesome! London is an incredible city with many activities and attractions your family will love. But let's face it, travelling with kids can be challenging. That's why the team at Nannybag, the stress-free luggage storage company, has put together its five top tips to help you have a fun family Easter break in one of the world's greatest cities.

Plan ahead: To make the most of your time in London, research and find out which attractions and activities your family would like to experience, but don't pack too much into one day. London is a big city, and it's worth planning travel time between attractions. You want to enjoy the journey as well as the destination and rushing from place to kids is a stress easily avoidable. You can check out journey times on the Transport for London website.

Buying a London visitor's pass or booking tickets in advance can be cheaper, save you time and avoid long queues. London has so much to offer for kids, from the London Eye and Tower of London to the British Museum, the Science Museum, and the Natural History Museum. And for all the Harry Potter fans, a visit to Harry Potter World, just outside of London, is a must.

Stay in a family-friendly hotel: Finding a hotel that caters to families can make your trip much more enjoyable. Look for hotels with amenities such as a play area or a swimming pool. Some hotels also offer babysitting services so you can have some alone time to explore the city.

Use public transport: Getting around London is easy with its extensive tube and bus network, and hopping on and off a big red London bus or the tube is part of the fun. Some London buses take in many of the sites and are much cheaper than paying for a sightseeing bus tour. The number 9 bus will take you to all the museums, passing some iconic sites on the way, and if you want to explore some of London's fantastic markets, hop on the number 35 bus. Kids under 11 travel free on buses and trains when accompanied by an adult.

Take breaks: Exploring the city can be tiring, especially for kids. Take breaks throughout the day to rest, grab a snack, or have a picnic in one of London's many beautiful parks. Hyde Park, St James's Park, and Kensington Gardens are just a few examples of the city's many green spaces, including Regent's Park, right next to London Zoo.

Use Nannybag for luggage storage: If you arrive in London early or have a late departure or 11 am hotel checkout, carrying heavy bags around with kids in tow is the last thing you want to do. Fortunately, there are Nannybag luggage storage locations all over London, which means that you can store your bags securely at various locations throughout London, and many of our locations let our customers use their toilets and wifi.  Nannybag charges £6 per piece of luggage per day, with no hidden extras.

Matthieu Ballester, CEO of Nannybag, says: "Taking your kids to London can be an unforgettable adventure.
