Silverstone Serves Up The Classic Bank Holiday Festival

  • Fun-fuelled family entertainment at the world’s biggest classic motor racing festival

The world famous Silverstone circuit is set to host the world’s biggest retro motor racing festival, The Classic, on August Bank Holiday (26-28 August) with a weekend of fun-fuelled family entertainment and the theme ‘The Best of British’, celebrated on and off track. 
 
A special tribute to Sir Lewis Hamilton, with all seven of his World Championship winning Formula 1 cars will be on display, together with the latest generation Formula 1 cars from Alpine, Aston Martin F1 Racing, Mercedes-AMG, Red Bull Racing and Williams. Grand Prix cars from the 1930s up to the 1990s will be delighting the crowds on track too. 

Silverstone Serves Up The Classic Bank Holiday Festival travel family fun The new Foodie Fest will be home to cooking masterclasses from celebrity chefs, including The Great British Bake Off’s Candice Brown and Ready Steady Cook favourite Lesley Waters. The first ‘pop-up’ Diddly Squat Farm Shop, made famous by Jeremy Clarkson’s Amazon Prime Show, Clarkson’s Farm will also be joining the Foodie Fest plus there will be an artisan market courtesy of Made in Northamptonshire producers. 
 
Evening entertainment includes sets from The Cuban Brothers and Björn Again on Friday, Gabrielle and Sister Sledge on Saturday and headlining the weekend, Rick Astley will perform on Sunday. 

A packed schedule of racing and parades on track will be complemented by over 1000 classic cars on display, from Aston Martin, Ferrari and Jaguar to Lotus, Mustang, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, and everything in between. 
 
The Classic also features a host of interactive experiences with festival entertainment including:

Tickets are priced from £59, with free entry for accompanied children aged under 16 with all the entertainment, activities and trackside grandstand seating inclusive in the ticket price. (* additional charge)
