With the summer holiday season fast approaching in Europe, here are two very exciting new hotel openings in Italy this year.

BEACHFRONT LOCATION

7Pines Resort Sardinia is a luxury beachfront property that’s surrounded by 15 hectares of untouched coastline and nature reserve

Italian Holiday Getaway 7Pines Resort Sardinia Cone Club travel Cone Club

Cuisine at 7Pines Resort Sardinia will be carefully curated using the very best hand-picked ingredients and innovative cooking techniques from the island, working with highly respected regional food and wine producers.

The resort’s fine-dining restaurant, Capogiro, will offer panoramic ocean views in an elegant setting. Executive Chef Pasquale D’Ambrosio will serve creative Mediterranean cuisine which honours the island’s local culinary traditions. The gastronomic dishes have been created using locally grown seasonal ingredients and traditional cooking techniques to preserve their freshness, flavours and quality.
The sommelier will guide guests through the treasures of the extensive wine cellar, which includes many fine vintages from Sardinia and Italy
At the poolside Spazio restaurant, there will be a corner dedicated entirely to Sardinia and to one of its gastronomic symbols: culurgiones – a unique stuffed pasta which is similar to a dumpling. The culurgiones will be prepared live with guests being able to pick their favourite filling.

For those who love to eat by the water, the laidback seafront Cone Club is set to be the hottest sundowner location on the north-east coast with unbeatable sunset views; combining beach life, music and nightlife
A natural oasis nestled between granite rocks and the emerald sea, the beach club is open for resort guests and visitors alike from lunchtime until late evening and is directly accessible by land or via the resort's private jetty.
Michelin-starred chef Tohru Nakamura is developing Cone Club’s menu in collaboration with local producers, farmers and fishermen

WELLBEING

At the heart of the resort will be the Pure Seven Spa: an 800 square metre haven of wellbeing with five treatment cabins for individual or couples’ treatments, relaxation area, steam room, sauna, emotional shower, ice room and outdoor areas for Kneipp therapy.
An oasis of pampering, the spa will offer a series of tailormade relaxing, rebalancing and reinvigorating treatments using local organic and natural ingredients and inspired by Sardinia’s “Blue Zone” identification

Oasyhotel

LOCATION

Launched in April 2022, Oasyhotel is a brand-new pioneering 16-lodge hotel in Tuscany’s San Marcello Piteglio’s WWF affiliated Oasi Dynamo nature reserve.
The expansive 1,000+ hectares of land consists of undisturbed forest, farmland, lakes and rivers, and reaches an altitude of 1,100 metres above sea-level.

Immersed in a nature oasis, guests can choose from a selection of 16x 65 sqm eco-lodges, with two different categories available: Eco-Lodge Double (with one double-bed and space for a small third-bed) and Eco-Lodge Family (with four large bunkbeds in two separate bedrooms, and two bathrooms).
Each sleek lodge has been stylishly designed using sustainably sourced wood from the Oasi Dynamo reserve, with all the accessories and comforts of a luxury hotel. Lodges are home to large windows, a living area, bar corner, bathroom and a stand-out spacious veranda which is perfect for sundowner aperitivos with panoramic views across the reserve.
Oasyhotel is home to communal areas including a cinema and games room, cosy lounge area, and a unique visitor centre with art gallery.

FARM-TO-TABLE CUISINE

Oasyhotel is part of the Oasi Dynamo farm which uses traditional agricultural practices from Tuscany. The farm rears Limousine cattle for fresh meat and dairy products as well as Cinta Senese and mestizo pigs, and grows many fruits including berries for fresh consumption and jam making; ancient grains with low gluten content; and a wide variety of seasonal vegetables.
Oasyhotel has two main restaurants for guests to choose from: Le Felci – located in a charming stone farmhouse, this sophisticated dining space serves daily breakfast, lunch and elegant dinners; Casa Luigi - located in Oasi’s agricultural area, this open-air environment provides a perfect family-dining style spot for long Tuscan-style lunches and evening barbeques overlooking the expansive nature reserve.
